Bambarakanda Waterfall

At 241 metres, Bambarakanda falls claims the privilege of being the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka, the 299^th highest waterfall in the world and 48^th among the 100 highest waterfalls in the world.

To reach the falls visitors should make a turning at Kalupahana Junction (in the Badulla District), near to the Weli Oya Bridge along the A4, between the 172^nd and 173^rd Kilometre posts.

Bogoda Bridge, the oldest surviving wooden bridge in Sri Lanka

Bogoda Wooden Bridge, which is the oldest surviving wooden bridge in Sri Lanka, was constructed way back in the 16^th century, over 400 years ago. Found in the Badulla district, it crosses the Gallanda Oya that links Badulla and Kandy via a popular ancient route.
